Eon Containers: 9-Year Structural Warranty

Every shipping container purchased from Eon Containers comes with a 9-year structural warranty, giving you peace of mind that your container is built to last. This warranty protects against defects arising from faulty materials or construction.

What’s Covered

This warranty applies to structural issues directly caused by manufacturing or assembly defects, including:

  • Frame bending, twisting, or collapse due to construction flaws
  • Rust or corrosion caused by inadequate coating or sealing at delivery
  • Doors that warp or fail due to improper installation
  • Faulty welds or joints not caused by overloading or external impact

If a covered defect arises within the warranty period, Eon Containers will repair or replace the affected parts at no cost. In cases where the container cannot be repaired due to a qualifying defect, a replacement container will be provided.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, improper lifting, impact from machinery, or stacking beyond rated capacity
  • Environmental or external factors, including storms, flooding, fire, or vandalism
  • Any modifications or alterations made after delivery, including cutting, welding, or structural changes
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, minor dents, or surface rust that does not affect structural performance

Inspection Guidelines

Upon delivery, purchasers must visually inspect the container within 48 hours. Any defects, transit damage, or issues with installation should be reported immediately to Eon Containers.

We also recommend annual inspections during the warranty period, including checking door alignment, seal integrity, surface coating condition, and drainage. Regular cleaning and touch-ups of protective coatings are required to maintain warranty validity.

Warranty Transfer

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and the delivery address on the sales agreement. Ownership transfer does not automatically extend warranty coverage.

However, Eon Containers may approve a one-time warranty transfer under the following conditions:

  • The container has been properly maintained and remains structurally unchanged
  • The transfer request is made within the original 9-year warranty period
  • Proof of purchase and maintenance records are provided

Transfer approvals are granted at the sole discretion of Eon Containers and must be confirmed in writing.

How to Make a Claim

To submit a warranty claim, contact Eon Containers with:

  • Your order reference
  • Photos clearly showing the issue
  • A detailed description of the defect

Our team will review your submission and may arrange an on-site inspection or container evaluation if necessary. Coverage will be determined based on inspection results and in line with the warranty terms.

At Eon Containers, we are committed to delivering containers that are built to endure. This warranty reflects our confidence in the strength, reliability, and longevity of every container we supply.
